Who We Are
The Caledonia Police Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting the officers of the Village of Caledonia Police Department. We bridge the gap between municipal funding and law enforcement needs, investing in officer wellness, advanced equipment, and youth outreach.
Our Mission
The Caledonia Police Foundation supports the Caledonia Police Department by raising charitable funds to invest in officer wellness, training, equipment, and technology that strengthen public safety and build community trust to make Caledonia a safer community.
Our Vision
A safer, stronger Caledonia where officers are well-equipped, well-trained, and well-supported — and where the bond between the community and its police department grows stronger every year.
What We Do
We identify needs that fall outside standard department funding and raise the charitable dollars to meet them:
- Officer wellness — mental health, peer support, and family resources
- Training — specialized and advanced instruction beyond baseline requirements
- Equipment — modern gear and tools that improve safety and effectiveness
- Technology — systems that enhance response, transparency, and community trust
- Community programs — initiatives that connect officers with the residents they serve
- K-9 Unit Support — veterinary care, specialized training, and equipment for our K-9 partners
